Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an intermediate Water Damage Specialist to lead a residential and small commercial water damage team. This role requires knowledge of IICRC standards and the ability to manage moisture and drying operations on site.

You will document progress, supervise crews, and ensure equipment is properly used and maintained. Excellent English and strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 12 months of experience in Basic Level Water Damage BELFOR or equivalent sector
• Participation in at least 25 water damage projects
• Knowledge of BELFOR Water Damage standards and procedures
• Familiarity with moisture mapping and drying strategies
• Ability to operate and maintain water extraction and drying equipment
• Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor
• English language literacy and fluency

Responsibilities

• Lead the water damage team and direct work by the Supervisor's instructions.
• Administer PPE usage and ensure safety standards on site.
• Review project requirements daily and update managers on progress.
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts and sketches for projects.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and maintenance.
• Adhere to BELFOR standards to protect client properties.
• Communicate time worked and equipment used accurately.
• Attend BELFOR operations and required security trainings.
