BELFOR is seeking an intermediate Water Damage Specialist to head a residential/commercial losses team. You will apply IICRC standards, manage equipment, and document moisture issues while coordinating crews and schedules.

The role requires hands‑on supervision, strong customer service, and the ability to travel and work irregular hours as projects demand. Join a specialized restoration team focused on quality results.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
• Working knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
• Carry current IICRC WRT designation.
• Must demonstrate familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book.
• Must demonstrate proper use of appropriate meters and IR camera, understanding of affected vs unaffected building materials and contents.
• Demonstrate ability to draw a sketch, read floor plan, complete moisture and psychrometric logs.
• Understanding of air mover calculation and LGR dehumidification charts.
• Experience with truck mount extraction systems.
• Demonstrated experience supervising small crews (up to 10 people).
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR policy.
• English language literacy and fluency.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from the Supervisor.
• Direct teams in using the correct PPE.
• Review daily project requirements and report progress/challenges.
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts and sketches for projects.
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
• Adhere to BELFOR standards to safeguard client property.
• Demonstrate strong customer service principles.
• Work with time constraints to meet deadlines.
• Occasional travel, night, and weekend work.
• Timely, accurate reporting of time and resources.
