Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a Water Damage Specialist at the intermediate level to head the water damage team on residential and small commercial losses, following IICRC standards. The role involves documenting moisture, operating extraction and drying equipment, and guiding junior technicians while meeting project deadlines.

Applicants should have 12 months of Basic Water Damage experience with BELFOR or equivalent, and participation in at least 25 water damage projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard
• Experience with IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard
• IICRC WRT designation
• Familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book
• Experience drawing moisture maps and setting drying goals
• Ability to supervise small crews (up to 10)
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR policy
• English literacy and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Direct the teams in using the correct PPE for the job
• Review daily project requirements and document progress
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts and sketches for projects
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain equipment
• Travel nights and weekends may be required
• Attend BELFOR operations and security training as needed
