Job summary

BELFOR is seeking a Water Damage Specialist at an intermediate level in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The role oversees the water damage team for residential and small commercial losses, applying IICRC standards and managing moisture assessment and documentation.

Requires experience on multiple losses and ability to supervise crews up to 10 people. The position involves travel, possible night and weekend work, and adherence to BELFOR safety policies, with a focus on customer service and timely project

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage standards.
• Knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation standards.
• Possess current IICRC WRT designation.
• Familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage procedures and tools.
• Ability to operate moisture meters and IR camera accurately.

Responsibilities

• Direct the water damage team and ensure proper PPE usage.
• Review daily project requirements and communicate progress to management.
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts, and sketches for projects.
• Perform vehicle safety inspections and maintain equipment.
• Travel nights and weekends as required.
• Attend BELFOR safety trainings and operations meetings.
