Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an experienced Water Damage Specialist at an intermediate level to lead the water damage team on residential and small commercial losses in Florida. You will apply IICRC standards, operate extraction and drying equipment, and document moisture extent with accuracy.

You will mentor junior technicians, manage field operations, and coordinate with supervisors to meet project deadlines while upholding BELFOR's safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• 12 months of Water Damage Basic level experience
• Participated in ≥25 water damage projects
• Fluency in English
• IICRC certifications and BELFOR Water Damage knowledge

Responsibilities

• Direct the water damage team on residential and small commercial losses
• Oversee use of PPE and equipment for safety and accuracy
• Review daily project requirements and document progress
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts, and sketches
• Inspect vehicle safety and maintenance and keep records
• Comply with BELFOR standards to safeguard client property
• Travel as needed and work nights/weekends when required
• Maintain timely, accurate records of time, equipment, and materials
