Job summary

BELFOR Property Restoration is seeking an intermediate Water Damage Specialist to head the water damage team handling residential and small commercial losses. You will apply IICRC S500/S520 standards and WRT designation knowledge to manage moisture assessment, equipment use, and documentation.

You will supervise crews, coordinate with supervisors, and ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of projects, including night/weekend assignments when needed.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
• Working knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
• Carry current IICRC WRT designation.
• Familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book.
• Proper use of meters and IR camera; identify affected vs unaffected materials.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from Supervisor and direct the team.
• Review project requirements; document progress and report to managers.
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts, and sketches for projects.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and maintain equipment.
