Job summary

BELFOR is seeking an intermediate Water Damage Specialist to head the water damage team for residential and small commercial losses. You will apply IICRC S500/S520 standards, manage moisture restoration, and document findings with precision.

The role requires supervising crews, using moisture detection tools, and coordinating field operations while maintaining safety and quality on challenging projects.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
• Working knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
• WRT designation current.
• Familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book.
• Proficient use of moisture meters and IR camera.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from Supervisor and lead teams.
• Direct teams in PPE usage and safety practices.
• Document progress with photos, charts and sketches.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and maintenance daily.
• Travel, nights and weekends may be required.
• Maintain accurate time and equipment usage records.
