Job summary

BELFOR is hiring a Water Damage Specialist (intermediate) in the United States. You will lead the water damage team on residential and small commercial losses, applying IICRC S500/S520 standards, and guiding moisture measurement and drying strategies.

Responsibilities include directing PPE, documenting progress, and providing field records while coordinating with supervisors. Expect occasional travel and after-hours work as required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard and S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
• Current IICRC WRT designation and familiarity with BELFOR water damage processes.
• Experience supervising small crews and documenting moisture and drying goals.
• Ability to draw moisture maps and perform accurate moisture measurements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the water damage team for residential and small commercial losses.
• Direct PPE usage, review project requirements, and document progress.
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts, sketches for projects.
• Travel nights and weekends as required; ensure timely reporting.
