Job summary

BELFOR Environmental in Albuquerque, NM, seeks an intermediate Water Damage Specialist to lead a water damage team on residential and small commercial losses. You will apply IICRC standards, manage moisture assessment, and supervise technicians while maintaining equipment and safety protocols.

You will document drying goals, train junior staff, and coordinate with supervisors to meet project deadlines. This role requires flexibility to travel, night work, and weekend support as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard knowledge.
• Must demonstrate familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book.
• Demonstrate ability to draw a sketch, read floor plan, complete moisture logs and drying goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct the teams in the use of the right PPE for the job.
• Review daily project requirements, document progress, and notify managers of challenges.
• Provide field documentation, photographic records, charts and sketches for projects.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain equipment.
• Comply with BELFOR standards to safeguard property.
• Supervise small crews on residential, commercial, and industrial losses.
• Travel and work nights/weekends as required.
• Report time and resource usage accurately.
• Attend BELFOR operations and security training as necessary.
