BELFOR Property Restoration is seeking a Water Damage Specialist at the intermediate level to head the water damage team handling residential and small commercial losses. You will apply IICRC water and mold standards, manage water extraction and moisture detection equipment, and document moisture extent and distribution for each loss.

You will also mentor basic technicians and assist advanced crews on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IICRC S500 Water Damage Standard.
• Knowledge of IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standard.
• Current IICRC WRT designation.
• Familiarity with BELFOR Water Damage Book.
• Ability to use meters and IR camera; distinguish affected vs. unaffected materials.
• Sketch drawing, floor plans, moisture logs, and drying goals.

Responsabilités

• Direct teams in using the correct PPE for the job.
• Review project requirements, document progress, and notify managers.
• Provide field documentation, photos, charts, and sketches for projects.
• Inspect vehicles for safety and maintenance daily.
• Comply with BELFOR standards to protect client property.
• Lead small crews and manage time constraints for deadlines.
• Occasionally travel and work nights/weekends as required.
• Document time worked and equipment used promptly.
