Job summary

Cadmus seeks a part-time professional to provide technical assistance to drinking water and wastewater utilities, helping government agencies and communities address operational, infrastructure, and regulatory challenges. You will support compliance with SDWA and CWA and work with utilities and regulators to improve public health and system reliability.

Work includes on-site and remote support, field visits, and travel as needed, with approximately 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with coursework in engineering, public health, environmental science and policy, or similar field, with ≥8 years’ experience; or Bachelor’s with same focus and ≥10 years’ experience.
• Experience with SDWA and/or CWA regulatory programs.
• Experience inspecting water utilities.
• Certification as a water and/or wastewater operator preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; ability to learn quickly and work independently or in a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to travel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
