Job summary

Cadmus Group seeks an experienced, part-time professional for approximately 20 hours per week to assist government agencies and communities with water and wastewater regulatory challenges. You will provide onsite and remote assistance to utilities to achieve SDWA and CWA compliance, working with operators and regulators in small, rural communities.

The role involves field time, strong communication, and collaboration with Cadmus experts to deliver client-ready products and ensure on-time

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with relevant coursework in engineering/public health/environmental science and policy and 8+ years of experience, or Bachelor’s with same coursework and 10+ years of experience.
• Experience with SDWA and/or CWA regulatory programs.
• Experience inspecting water utilities.
• Certification as a water and/or wastewater operator preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with ability to learn quickly and work independently or in a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to travel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

• Provide technical expertise in support of technical assistance to drinking water and wastewater utilities and regulatory program oversight.
• Demonstrate professionalism and sound judgment in client and team interactions.
• Lead the development of client-ready products.
• Demonstrate effective task prioritization and management.
• Ensure quality assurance and quality control of deliverables.
• Conduct effective research and analysis.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Demonstrate job knowledge and software proficiency.
• Ensure deliverables meet client requirements and timelines.
