Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a part-time technical assistance professional to help drinking water and wastewater utilities achieve SDWA and CWA compliance. The role blends field site work and remote support, approximately 20 hours per week, with travel to utilities as needed.

You will collaborate with regulators and operators to develop guidance, assess infrastructure needs, and deliver client-ready products, applying strong communication and problem-solving skills in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s with coursework in engineering, public health, environmental science & policy; extensive relevant experience.
• Experience with SDWA and/or CWA regulatory programs.
• Experience inspecting water utilities.
• Certification as a water and/or wastewater operator preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to travel.
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

• Provide technical expertise in support of technical assistance to drinking water and wastewater utilities, regulatory program implementation oversight activities, and guidance development.
