Job summary

Cadmus seeks an experienced part-time professional to assist government agencies and communities on water and wastewater challenges, ensuring SDWA/CWA compliance. The role involves field work and remote assistance, strong communication with utility operators and regulators, and delivering client-ready analyses and plans.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with coursework in engineering, public health, environmental science and policy, or related field with 8+ years of experience, or a Bachelor’s with the same coursework and 10+ years of experience.
• Experience with SDWA and/or CWA regulatory programs.
• Experience inspecting water utilities.
• Certification as a water and/or wastewater operator is preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to learn quickly and work independently or in a team.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in support of drinking water and wastewater utilities and regulatory program implementation oversight.
• Demonstrate professionalism and sound judgment in client interactions.
• Lead the development of client-ready products.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ensure quality assurance and quality control of deliverables.
• Conduct research and analysis.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Demonstrate proficiency with common software tools and deliverables.
• Deliver outcomes that meet client requirements on time and drive follow-on work.
