Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a part-time professional (approx. 20 hours/week) with strong experience in providing technical assistance to water and wastewater utilities and regulators.

The role supports SDWA and CWA compliance, with field and remote work as needed, and requires travel to utility sites and coordination with government agencies and communities. The successful candidate will bring expertise in system operations, infrastructure, and regulatory programs to improve public health, with

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with coursework in engineering, public health, environmental science and policy with 8+ years of experience, or a Bachelor’s with the same focus and 10+ years of experience.
• Experience with SDWA and/or CWA regulatory programs.
• Experience inspecting water utilities.
• Certification as a water and/or wastewater operator preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in support of drinking water and wastewater utilities and regulatory program oversight.
• Lead development of client-ready products.
• Demonstrate strong task prioritization and quality assurance of outputs.
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms.
• Travel as required to field sites and engage with stakeholders to ensure compliance and project success.
