Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Part-time Wastewater Operator II/III for our Burbank Wastewater plant. The role involves operating and maintaining equipment, performing tests, documenting plant performance and responding to emergencies.

Candidates should have related water/wastewater experience and a valid license as described. The position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, and the ability to communicate clearly with clients and coworkers while following SOPs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 4 years water/wastewater experience.
• Advanced knowledge of water/wastewater operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and internet.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment such as valves, pumps, motors and disinfection equipment.
• Performs routine testing, monitoring and maintenance of water/wastewater systems.
• Documents plant performance, daily flow and chemical usage.
• Responds to after-hours emergencies to repair equipment.
• Keeps facilities clean and secure; trains others in operations.
