Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Wastewater Operator IV to oversee operation and maintenance at a large wastewater facility. The role includes hands-on control of pumps, valves and treatment equipment, plus routine testing and documentation of plant performance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least five years of water/wastewater experience. CDL preferred and responsibilities may include after-hours emergencies and training of staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years water/wastewater experience.
• CDL preferred license.

Responsibilities

• Operates valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, disinfection equipment and related machinery.
• Performs routine testing, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance of water/wastewater systems.
• Documents treatment process performance and chemical usage; records daily flow.
• Responds to call outs and after-hours emergencies to repair equipment and instruments.
• Maintains facility grounds and ensures site security; trains others on SOPs and safe practices.
• Communicates with clients on routine technical aspects of operations; coordinates maintenance when needed.
