Job summary

Inframark in Burbank, CA is seeking a Wastewater Operator II or III to operate and maintain equipment at our medium to large wastewater facility. The role involves testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining wells and plant systems while ensuring safe, compliant operation.

You will respond to after-hours calls, train staff, document plant performance, and communicate with clients about technical aspects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 4 years water/wastewater experience.
• Valid Driver’s License; CDL preferred if required by site.
• Water/Wastewater Operator’s License applicable to state/site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of equipment including valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, disinfection equipment, and vehicles.
• Perform routine testing, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance of wells and wastewater systems.
• Document treatment processes, plant performance, daily flow and chemical usage.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies to repair equipment and instrumentation.
• Train staff on plant operations, SOPs and safe work practices.
