Job summary

Inframark seeks an Operator I to operate and maintain equipment in water or wastewater facilities, ensuring reliable treatment processes and regulatory compliance.

You will perform routine testing, monitor unit processes, document plant performance, and respond to after-hours calls. Flexibility to work weekends and on-call shifts is required; a high school diploma or GED and appropriate licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License; Water/Wastewater license as required.
• Willing to obtain state/site-specific operator license.
• Experience in water/wastewater operations preferred.
• Willing to work all shifts including weekends and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Operate valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, and disinfection equipment.
• Test, monitor, and maintain wells and unit processes.
• Document plant performance, including flow and chemical usage.
• Respond to after-hours calls to repair equipment.
• Maintain clean, secure facilities and assist customers when needed.
• Work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
