Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Wastewater Operator I to operate and maintain equipment in wastewater treatment facilities at a Union site. The role requires accuracy in monitoring, testing, and documenting plant performance, with readiness for after-hours on-call work.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, willingness to obtain water/wastewater certification, and knowledge of process control and safety practices. CDL preferred; candidate should be prepared for weekend/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; water/wastewater licensure encouraged.
• Willing to obtain water or wastewater certification.
• Knowledge of process control techniques and safety practices.
• Experience in water/wastewater treatment desirable.
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment including valves, pumps, motors, belt presses, disinfection equipment, and vehicles.
• Run routine tests and monitor production wells and basic lab analyses.
• Document plant performance, flow, electrical and chemical usage, and dosage.
• Respond to call-outs and emergencies to repair equipment.
• Keep facilities clean, neat, and secure; provide customer service when needed.
• Willing to work all shifts, including weekends and 24-hour on-call.
• Other duties as assigned.
