Job summary

HDR is seeking a WTEM Business Class Director to lead wastewater treatment and effluent management initiatives across HDR’s markets. The role directs technical teams, drives risk management, and builds relationships with clients and universities, ensuring high-quality project delivery and strategic growth.

The WTEM BCD will mentor staff, oversee planning, design, start-up, and commissioning activities, and contribute to research collaborations and industry engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a related field.
• Experience in a Business Class leadership role or professional services.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Lead and coordinate with related business classes, market sectors, and operations.
• Drive technical risk management and quality assurance across HDR projects.
• Oversee development and application of technical tools, standards and techniques.
• Mentor and direct technical leaders and staff.
