Job summary

Republic Services in North Carolina is seeking an Account Manager to maintain and expand relationships with existing commercial and industrial customers, selling the full suite of waste services offered. You will leverage your sales skills to deepen penetration and drive revenue within an assigned territory.

You will document activities in Salesforce, coordinate with operations to address service issues, and participate in company events to raise visibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and retains existing customers by building long-term relationships and loyalty.
• Gains thorough knowledge of Republic Services offerings, pricing, and potential additional services.
• Performs contractual re-signs to extend relationships and profitability.
• Responds to cancellation requests per policy.
• Communicates with customers on pricing initiatives and updates.
• Uses Salesforce daily to schedule and document calls, meetings, and proposals.
