Job summary

Republic Services in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Account Manager to proactively maintain and retain relationships with existing commercial and industrial waste customers, and grow penetration by selling the full suite of Republic Services products in the territory.

Responsibilities include building long-term loyalty, knowing services and pricing, performing contract re-signs, addressing service issues with operations, and using Salesforce daily to log calls, meetings and proposals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant sales experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Preferred: Waste or transportation industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and retains existing customers by building long-term relationships and loyalty.
• Develops knowledge of Republic Services' services, pricing, and offers to assigned customers.
• Performs contractual re-signs to extend relationships and profitability.
• Responds to cancellation requests per escalation policy.
• Communicates pricing initiatives with customers and uses Salesforce daily to log activities.
