Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Account Executive to identify leads, prospect new business, and drive sales of our full waste and recycling solutions. You will meet with decision-makers in assigned markets, present our value proposition, and close deals for commercial and industrial clients.

The role requires proactive outreach, regular use of Salesforce for activity tracking, and ongoing market awareness to grow revenue and strengthen client relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct selling experience in a customer-facing role that includes identifying and addressing customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Identifies viable leads, manages prospects and acquires new, profitable commercial, industrial and recycling business to meet and exceed monthly revenue goals.
• Follows up on leads within 2 hours and creates follow-up tasks in Salesforce to determine next steps.
• Delivers sales presentations to prospective clients and closes sales for services including total waste stream management.
