Job summary

Republic Services in the United States seeks an Account Executive to generate new business across a defined geography. You will prospect, present our full waste and recycling solutions, and close deals with commercial and municipal clients.

Responsibilities include following up leads, maintaining Salesforce records, and expanding revenue through cross-selling total waste stream management solutions where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct selling experience in a customer-facing role that includes identifying and addressing customer needs.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Identifies viable leads and acquires new commercial, industrial and recycling business to meet revenue goals.
• Follows up leads quickly and creates follow-up tasks to determine next steps.
• Prepares and delivers sales presentations to prospective clients and closes sales.
• Maintains knowledge of services, pricing and cross-sell opportunities to grow revenue.
