Duke Energy is seeking an engineering intern to work on real-world projects within the Waste and Groundwater Programs group. You will learn from experienced engineers, support data management, and assist with regulatory submittals in a hybrid office/field setting.

The role focuses on office-based technical work with opportunities across Indiana locations and travel to project sites as needed. Enrollment in relevant engineering programs is required.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in ABET-accredited Bachelor's or Master's in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
• Must not graduate prior to August 2027.
• Cumulative GPA 2.75+.

Responsabilités

• Assist environmental professionals with data review and regulatory submittals.
• Support waste characterization, disposal activities, and monitoring results.
• Coordinate with laboratories, site personnel, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Work on office-based technical tasks and real-world projects under guidance.
• Contribute to reports, plans, and procedures.
