Job summary

Meritage Homes in Franklin, TN is seeking a Customer Care Associate to supervise warranty-service work across multiple home sites and ensure building codes and Meritage quality standards are met. You will read blueprints, oversee subcontractors, coordinate inspections, and guide homeowners through the construction process while maintaining clear documentation and positive customer relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Construction experience with supervisory or oversight preferred.
• Advanced trades training preferred.
• Knowledge of homebuilding, construction systems, building codes, ROC.
• Ability to read blueprints and inspect construction elements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; Hyphen knowledge a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warranty-service work of laborers and sub-contractors at multiple home sites.
• Ensure codes and Meritage quality standards are met; resolve quality issues.
• Participate in AVID-Customer Satisfaction process.
• Assist with inspections and homeowner walk-throughs.
• Manage customer expectations during construction via homeowner orientation.
• Interact daily with departments, subcontractors, homebuyers, homeowners, and city inspectors.
• Manage warranty claims and paperwork flow, updating reports and sign-offs.
• Ensure timely warranty reports to deliver prompt, professional service.
• Interpret warranty claims against the Meritage warranty manual.
