Job summary

Meritage Homes Corporation is seeking a Customer Care Associate to supervise warranty-service work across multiple home sites within a community. You will ensure building codes and Meritage standards are met, and participate in the AVID-Customer Satisfaction process.

The role requires at least 1 year of construction experience with supervision, knowledge of homebuilding and building codes, plus fluency with MS Word/Excel. A driver’s license is required for site visits and inspections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; construction management coursework preferred.
• At least 1 year in construction with supervisory or oversight experience preferred.
• Advanced training in residential building trades strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of homebuilding, construction systems, codes, ROC.
• Ability to read blueprints for quality control across framing, stucco, electrical, plumbing, etc.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; Hyphen a plus.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance as required by Meritage Homes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warranty-service work of laborers and subcontractors across multiple sites.
• Ensure codes and Meritage quality standards are met; resolve QC issues.
• Participate in the AVID-Customer Satisfaction process.
• Assist with inspections and homeowner walkthroughs as time permits.
• Manage customer expectations during construction through orientation.
• Interact daily with departments, subcontractors, homebuyers, homeowners, and city inspectors.
• Manage warranty claims and paperwork flow, including reports and sign-offs.
• Maintain warranty reports to ensure prompt, professional service.
