Job summary

Meritage Homes is seeking a Customer Care Coordinator to support warranty operations across the home-building lifecycle. You will manage warranty service requests, coordinate with construction, warranty and sales teams, and ensure timely processing of work orders and communications.

This role requires a high school diploma (construction knowledge preferred), familiarity with blueprints, MS Word/Excel, and at least one year of construction experience with supervisory exposure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Course work or degree in Construction management preferred.
• At least one year of construction experience with supervisory or project oversight preferred.
• Knowledge of homebuilding, construction systems, processes, building codes and ROC.
• Must read blueprints to maintain quality control and inspect construction aspects.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; Hyphen knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all customer care actions align with Meritage warranty guidelines.
• Manage warranty service requests via email or Meritage website.
• Receive and expedite calls from homeowners and vendors as appropriate.
• Coordinate with construction, warranty and sales to expedite requests.
• Input data, generate and distribute service requests and work orders.
• Maintain and track information using systems like PeopleSoft and Salesforce.
• Prepare reports and track warranty metrics weekly.
• Share data with customer care associates and managers.
• Update records related to scheduling and documentation for subsequent buyers.
• Research home files to assist service or legal discovery processes.
• Assist with homeowner walkthroughs/orientation when required.
