Qualifications

• At least 1 year of construction experience with supervisory exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of homebuilding and construction systems, codes and ROC.
• Ability to read blueprints to assess quality and inspect construction elements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warranty-service work of laborers and subcontractors at multiple sites.
• Ensure codes and Meritage standards are met during repairs.
• Support the AVID-Customer Satisfaction process in communities.
• Assist with inspections and conduct homeowner walk-throughs.
• Manage customer expectations during construction via orientation.
• Interact daily with departments, subcontractors, homebuyers, homeowners, and city inspectors.
• Handle warranty claims in an organized, methodical way.
• Maintain paperwork: reports and sign-offs as needed.
• Prepare warranty reports to ensure prompt service for homeowners.
• Interpret warranty claims against the Meritage warranty manual.
