Job summary

American Battery Solutions is seeking a Customer Warranty Engineer in Lake Orion, MI to optimize warranty operations and customer satisfaction. You will manage warranty cases, coordinate with engineering and logistics, and provide technical and administrative support while ensuring timely resolution of inquiries.

The role requires strong attention to detail, initiative, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
1 year of customer service in automotive/manufacturing preferred.
Experience with warranty handling and RMAs.
Strong troubleshooting and multitasking abilities.
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first line of support for customers and document service incidents.
Manage customer accounts through the RMA and warranty processes.
Process service orders and maintain service records with timely updates.
Communicate customer requirements to internal teams for improvement.
Track customer interactions using systems like Salesforce and internal databases.
Coordinate product shipments and returns with logistics and Hazmat compliance.
Provide after-hours support as needed and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Develop and document warranty processes and SOPs.
Generate reports on service metrics for stakeholders.
