Job summary

DSLD Homes is seeking a Customer Care Technician - Warranty for the Monroe/Ruston, LA area. This field position performs home warranty inspections, documents needed repairs, and coordinates with homeowners to ensure timely service.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service and knowledge of residential construction. The position is full-time with travel up to 90% and requires mobility, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Customer service background and a positive attitude are required.
• Strong work ethic and communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of residential construction is preferred (2–5 years).
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and endure varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality assurance and provide warranty service to homeowners after closing.
• Conduct scheduled warranty inspections at 30 days, 6 months, and 12 months after closing.
• Document items needing repair during inspections.
• Coordinate with Customer Care Coordinators to schedule repairs and requests for work orders.
• Educate homeowners to operate their mechanical and electrical systems during inspections.
• Light sheetrock, paint, plumbing, electrical work may be required.
• Ensure warranty service requests are completed within a set time frame.
