DSLD Homes LLC in Monroe, LA is seeking a Customer Care Technician - Warranty. This full-time field role involves visiting homes for warranty inspections and repairs, with Monday–Friday hours and some travel.

Candidates must be comfortable with physical tasks and working in homeowners’ homes. Responsibilities include conducting warranty inspections at 30 days, 6 months, and 12 months post-closing, documenting repairs, coordinating with care coordinators, and educating homeowners on home systems.

Qualifications

• Customer service background and a positive attitude are a must.
• Strong work ethic and good communication skills; ability to handle confrontation professionally.
• Knowledge of residential construction; 2–5 years’ experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality assurance and provide warranty service to homeowners after closing.

Customer Care Technician - Warranty(Full Time) - Monroe/Ruston, LA

Days and hours of work are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This job is a field position. There will be minimal work in an office environment. Job requires physical labor and meeting with customers in their homes. Please read the sections below for more details.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Document items needing repair during scheduled warranty inspections.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products; job requires use of an iPad and other programs to complete documents.

Customer service background and a positive attitude are a must.

Must have a strong work ethic and communication skills; the ability to handle confrontation in a professional manner is essential.

Knowledge of residential construction; 2-5 years’ experience preferred.

Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and valid motor vehicle liability insurance are required; <90% travel required

Physical stamina is required because this position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, some climbing or balancing and carrying. The team member must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more. Position is often exposed to various weather conditions (especially heat), loud noise, and vibrations.

Residency in one of the following states is a requirement for the position: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, or Texas.
