Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Technician to maintain an elevated level of homeowner satisfaction by facilitating warranty requests, performing repairs, and scheduling subcontractors across designated communities.

The role includes carpentry, drywall, texture repair, and painting, with travel and overtime as needed to meet commitments. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (GED) and 3+ years of related experience, strong communication, and proficiency with warranty

Qualifications

• Three or more years related experience including carpentry, drywall, texture repair and painting
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel among communities
• Excellent communications and ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Evaluate homeowner repair issues for warrantability
• Process work orders and supervisor instructions for repairs
• Perform repairs or schedule subcontractors for warranty work
• Manage subcontractors and ensure repairs meet standards
• Maintain professional relations with homeowners and subcontractors
• Process invoices and documentation
• Work overtime and travel as needed
