Job summary

Comprehensive Woman's Care, a Partner Practice of Together Women's Health, is seeking a full-time Receptionist to join their growing team. The Receptionist is a brand ambassador and is responsible for providing a warm welcome to every patient, on the phone or in person, with outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, updating insurance information, using the EHR system, checking out, and verifying eligibility.

Qualifications

• New graduates from a receptionist program welcome.
• 1 year previous medical office experience preferred.
• Athena experience preferred.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greeting every patient with a smile.
• Completing and updating patients' insurance information with accuracy.
• Utilizes the EHR system to register patients and facilitate visits.
• Complete the check out process and assist with scheduling future appointments.
• Verifying insurance eligibility and collecting co-pays/deductibles.
• Answer the appointment line and manage email appointment requests.
• Schedule appointments for multiple office sites and/or diagnostic departments.
• Maintain a professional, warm, and caring patient encounter.
