Job summary

Together Women's Health is seeking a full-time Receptionist for Comprehensive Woman's Care to warmly greet patients and support front-desk operations. You will schedule appointments, collect insurance details, and use the EHR to register visits, ensuring a smooth flow for physicians, CNMs, and diagnostic staff.

Experience in a medical setting is preferred; Athena familiarity is encouraged. You must be able to travel between three practice locations to cover vacations, sick leave, and staffing

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical setting is preferred.
• 1 year previous medical office experience preferred.
• New graduates from a receptionist program welcome.
• Strong communication skills both oral and written.
• Must be detailed oriented and able to multitask.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Previous experience with insurance verification is required.
• Must be able to travel between three locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet every patient with a smile and provide a warm welcome.
• Collect and update patients' insurance information accurately.
• Use the EHR system to register visits and facilitate patient flow with providers.
• Assist with scheduling future appointments and providing referral information.
• Verify insurance eligibility to support timely billing.
• Collect co-pays and deductibles according to billing policies.
• Answer the appointment line and manage the email appointment request system.
• Schedule appointments at office sites and/or diagnostic departments.
