Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Team Lead for 2nd shift at our New Berlin, USA facility. You will coordinate warehousing, shipping, receiving, and quality control while mentoring associates and ensuring safety and productivity targets are met.

Responsibilities include training new and existing staff, overseeing forklift operations, and maintaining accurate paperwork and reports for management.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in logistics/distribution environments.
• Able to operate MHE.
• Able to work in unregulated temperatures within a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new and existing associates in distribution activities and SOPs.
• Oversee unloading, picking, staging outbound shipments, and paperwork verification.
• Communicate professionally with customers via phone, email, or in person; prepare activity reports for site management.
• Verify product quality and proper labeling; report discrepancies and maintain quality records.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and compliance with ISO standards and OSHA/MSDS.
• Direct warehouse team to achieve productivity and attendance targets; assist with schedules and payroll hours.
• Participate in meetings and escalate non-conformities to Quality/Operations leadership.
• Operate equipment safely and ensure forklift certification is current.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping for equipment and facilities as needed.
• Be prepared to perform other duties and possibly work evenings/weekends to meet business needs.
