Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a senior Continuous Improvement leader to drive data-driven projects across multiple operations, delivering improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth. You will mentor teams, manage CI resources, and align with the CI Director and Director of Operations.

Responsibilities include strategy development, KPI tracking, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure rapid, sustainable changes leveraging Lean tools and data analytics. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Nine years+ in Distribution, Warehousing, Manufacturing, or Logistics.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma, PDCA, Value Stream Mapping.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CI engineering and quality professionals; hire, coach and develop staff.
• Lead strategy, KPIs, and action plans; report progress to senior leadership.
• Coach teams in Engineering, Data Analysis and Lean methods for excellence.
• Develop competency in engineering methods, data analytics, and lean tooling.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen events; drive sustainment and transformation.
