Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Warehouse Operations Clerk to ensure accurate and timely shipping documents and to support overall warehouse operations. The role reports to the Operations Supervisor or Manager and requires coordinating with drivers and site personnel to meet daily shipping needs.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, experience in a fast-paced warehouse, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and WMS systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle changing priorities and work under stress.
• Good visual acuity and data entry accuracy.
• Bi-lingual Spanish is preferred, not required.
• Ability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Communicates daily with outbound carriers via email and provides shipment schedules.
• Directs site personnel to ensure operations meet requirements.
• Receives drivers and directs outbound shipments.
• Opens/closes shipments in the warehouse management system and prepares bills of lading.
• Ensures drivers depart with correct paperwork and accurate shipping documents.
• Maintains data in the system and resolves discrepancies as needed.
• Assists in material handling duties such as receiving, put-away, picking, packing, or loading.
• Monitors trailer capacity and coordinates with spotters on trailer moves.
• Supports other administrative tasks as needed by leadership.
• Files outbound paperwork for easy access and maintains a seal log.
