Job summary

NFI Industries in Wilmer, TX is seeking a Warehouse Operations Clerk to ensure accurate and timely shipping documents, coordinate outbound shipments, and maintain detailed data in the warehouse management system. You will work closely with drivers, site personnel, and leadership to meet operational requirements.

Responsibilities include handling bills of lading, paperwork, and data entry, while supporting material handling tasks and ongoing process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and work under stress.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred, not required.
• Ability to stand and lift up to 50–100 pounds and work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Communicates via email with outbound carriers daily, providing schedules and equipment needs.
• Receives drivers and directs outbound shipments.
• Operates the warehouse management system to open/close shipments and prepare bills of lading.
• Ensures drivers depart with correct paperwork and that shipping documents are accurate.
• Maintains data in the system and assists in resolving discrepancies.
• Assists with material handling tasks such as receiving, put-away, picking, packing, or loading.
• Monitors trailer capacity and coordinates with spotters for trailer moves.
• Performs other administrative duties as needed by leadership.
• Files outbound paperwork for easy access and maintains seal logs and load boards.
