Job summary

NFI Industries in Olive Branch, MS is seeking a Warehouse Operations Clerk to ensure shipping documents are accurate and timely. This role reports to the Operations Supervisor or Manager and drives outbound shipments through carrier coordination and precise data handling.

The job requires experience with warehouse operations, attention to detail, and the ability to work irregular hours. You will use the Manhattan WMS, prepare bills of lading, and support administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Manhattan WMS preferred.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
• Good visual acuity to inspect shipments.
• Good finger dexterity to input data into inventory records.
• Ability to input data to create a daily inventory report.
• Accuracy in recordkeeping and in sorting, checking, counting, and verifying items received.
• Strong time management, organizational, planning and self-motivation skills.
• Bi-lingual Spanish preferred, not required.
• MHE experience or willingness to learn MHE.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand/walk 10–12 hours.
• Lift and move totes up to 50–100 pounds.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching.
• Walk in facility and area over a quarter mile; variable noise, lighting and temperature.

Responsibilities

• Communicates via email with outbound carriers daily, providing schedules for outbound shipments and equipment needs.
• Communicates with site personnel to ensure operations meet requirements.
• Receive all drivers and provide direction for outbound shipments.
• Open/close shipments in WMS and prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight.
• Ensure drivers depart with appropriate paperwork.
• Ensure accuracy of shipping documents by SOPs.
• Enter data into the WMS and maintain shipping activity records.
• Assist in resolving discrepancies.
• Assist with receiving, put-away, picking, packing, or loading.
• Actively monitors trailer capacity and coordinates with spotters on trailer moves.
• Assist with other administrative duties as needed by leadership.
• File outbound paperwork for easy access.
• Maintain seal log and load board with accurate information.
• Communicate work assignments (appointments, doors, items to pick).
• Other tasks as assigned.
