Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Selector to pick products, load trucks, and move inventory across dry, refrigerated, and freezer areas. Training is paid at $22.25/hour, with production pay at $27.00/hour and potential incentives.

As part of a safety-focused team, you’ll verify quantities, operate a reach truck and pallet jack, shrink-wrap orders, and maintain accurate records. Benefits start after a short waiting period and include comprehensive coverage and leave accrual.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more and perform visual inspections.
• English literacy for safety instructions and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks; move between dock and warehouse.
• Work in Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer areas as needed.
• McLane provides freezer suits, hats and gloves.
• Review documents; verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
• Drive and operate reach truck and pallet jack to pick and stack product.
• Hand-stack product when items are off balance or mislocated.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders; remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
