Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Selector to pick products, load trucks, and move items throughout the warehouse, including Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, and Freezer zones.

You will operate a reach truck and pallet jack to select, sort, and stack inventory, while maintaining accuracy and safety. We require 18+ years old and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, with English reading/writing proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more repeatedly.
• 1 year of distribution warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient for tasks and safety.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks, move product between loading dock and warehouse.
• Operate reach truck and pallet jack to pick, sort, and stack product.
• May work in Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer areas and others.
• Review documents and verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders; remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; perform other duties as assigned.
