Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Selector I to join our distribution team. You will select products, load trucks, and move items across multiple warehouse zones including Dry, Refrigerated, and Freezer areas.

We provide freezer gear and emphasize safety, accuracy, and efficient order fulfillment. The role requires basic English, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a willingness to work as part of a coordinated warehouse team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more repeatedly.
• 1 year distribution warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• English literacy to read and follow safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks, moving between the loading dock and the warehouse.
• Work in areas such as Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer, and others.
• McLane provides freezer gear (suits, hats, gloves).
• Review documents and verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
• Drive and operate a reach truck and pallet jack to select, pull, sort, and stack product.
• Hand-stack when items are off balance or misplaced.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders; remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Clean work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
