McLane Company, Inc. in Aberdeen, MD is hiring a Warehouse Selector I to load trucks, move product within warehouses, and operate reach trucks and pallet jacks. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, accurate document review, and teamwork in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Training pay starts at $20.50/hour with potential incentives after 100% production. Benefits begin after 60 days and include medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life insurance, vacation, sick leave, and holidays

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections and repeatedly lift to 50 pounds or more.
• 1 year of distribution warehouse experience preferred, including reach truck/pallet jack/forklift, but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks; move product between loading dock and warehouse.
• Work in Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer areas as needed.
• Wear provided freezer gear (suits, hats, gloves).
• Review documents; verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
• Operate reach truck and pallet jack to select, pull, sort, and stack product.
• Hand-stack product when off balance or mislocated.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders; remove wrap from incoming orders.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
