Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Selector to pick product, load trucks, and move items throughout our Houston-area warehouse. You’ll operate reach trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts, ensuring accuracy and safety in daily tasks.

The role requires basic English reading/writing and a willingness to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Minimum 1 year distribution warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Able to read, write, and understand English for safety and task instructions.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks between the loading dock and the warehouse.
• Operate reach truck and pallet jack to move products.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders; remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Review documents; verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
• Move product within the warehouse and dock; safe handling.
