Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Selector I to join our Rock Hill, SC team. You will select products and load trucks, moving items through Dry, Refrigerated, and Frozen zones using reach trucks and pallet jacks as needed.

Starting pay includes training at $20.75/hr and production at $24.50/hr with potential incentives. Benefits begin after 60 days, plus vacation, sick leave accrual, holidays, and programs supporting safety and growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds or more.
• 1+ year distribution warehouse experience preferred, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient for job-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks.
• Move product between loading dock and warehouse.
• Work in various areas (Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer).
• Review documents and verify quantity, identity, and condition of product.
• Drive and operate a reach truck and pallet jack to select and stack product.
• Hand-stack product when items are off balance or mislocated.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders; remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Clean work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
