Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Selector to pick product, load trucks, and move items between the dock and warehouse. This role supports multiple areas including Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, and Freezer.

You will review documents, verify quantities, operate reach trucks and pallet jacks, and keep a clean work area. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, FSA/HSA, life insurance, vacation and holidays after 90 days, and program discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more repeatedly.
• Reading, writing and understanding English at a functional level.
• Experience in distribution/warehouse operations preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks; move product between dock and warehouse.
• Work in Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer areas as needed.
• Wear provided freezer gear (suits, hats, gloves).
• Review documents; verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
• Operate reach truck and pallet jack to select, pull, sort, and stack product.
• Hand-stack occasionally when items are off balance or misplaced.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders; remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Maintain clean work area; perform other duties as assigned.
