Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Selector to join our distribution team. The role involves selecting products, loading trucks, and moving items within the warehouse and dock areas. We provide cold and dry storage zones and the team receives initials safety gear and training.

You will operate reach trucks and pallet jacks, verify documents, and ensure accurate counts and conditions of products. Generous benefits start after 60 days, with vacation and holidays after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to read, write and understand English.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks, moving between the loading dock and warehouse.
• Move product within the warehouse and between areas (Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer, etc).
• Operate reach truck and pallet jack to select, pull, sort and stack product.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders; remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Keep work area clean and safe; perform other duties as assigned.
