McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Selector for a part-time role in the Virginia Manassas area. The position includes training pay of $20.75 per hour and 100% production pay at $26.00 per hour, with additional incentive opportunities.

The role covers various warehouse zones and requires operating equipment like reach trucks and pallet jacks. Benefits begin after 60 days of full-time status and include health, dental, and vision insurance, plus 401(k) after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift 50 pounds+ repeatedly.
• 1+ year distribution warehouse experience preferred; not required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at functional level.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks, move product between loading dock and warehouse.
• May work in Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer areas.
• Wear freezer suits, hats, gloves provided by McLane.
• Review documents and verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
• Operate reach truck and pallet jack to select, pull, sort, and stack product.
• Hand-stack product when off balance or mislocated.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders; remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
